Kane & James

Hailing from woodsy Millstone, NJ, brothers Kane (bass, backing vocals) and James (guitar, lead vocals) Maraday grew up playing in bands together.

In 2012, the brothers met That’s Love Records co-founder Max Shrager, then 16 years old, when they responded to his Craiglist post advertising “old-school recording services.”

The crew immediately clicked and formed a strong musical bond. Over the years, the brothers have worked together with Max on projects including Las Los, 54 Ultra, and Shrager’s 2016 “Thoughts Of You” EP.

On their new EP, “Flower,” Kane & James showcase their infectious melodies and tight harmonies, taking the listener on a journey through jangly, gently psychedelic soundscapes.

The EP features two bonus tracks, “It’s Hard To Live (Without Your Love)” and “Time,” both of which were recorded in the summer of 2012 shortly after the brothers and Max first met.
