Caj Rio

Caj Rio is the instrumental solo project of Alejandro Garcia of Thee Sacred Souls. Garcia co-founded the Souls in 2019 with Sal Samano and Josh Lane. Since then, the band has released two critically acclaimed records and toured the world, performing at prestigious venues and festivals such as Madison Square Garden and Coachella. Garcia created the name “Caj Rio” as a recording project moniker in 2018, when he first started making music in his San Diego DIY studio. The project is a reflection of his global musical interests outside of the soul world.
